Antarctica

Brr It's freezing out here why did I come.

Antarctica is the coldest continent on earth and almost always stays the same size.
This is because the snow is so white that the sun reflects back into space. Antarctica is the coldest continent on earth, which leads to a climate of extremes. The continent is snow- and ice-covered, with freezing temperatures all year round. So-called "Catabian winds" can cause violent snowstorms that can last for days, and sometimes even weeks, making it very dangerous to stay outside. Antarctic weather. Antarctica is the coldest, windiest and driest continent on Earth. The average annual temperature ranges from about −10°C on the Antarctic coast to −60°C at the highest parts of the interior. Near the coast the temperature can exceed +10°C at times in summer and fall to below −40°C in winter. The South Pole is not the coldest place in Antarctica. The coldest temperature recorded in Antarctica was -89.6°C at Vostok station in 1983. The average winter temperature at the South Pole is about -49°C. Your home freezer is only about -15°C. The wind chill factor means that it can feel much colder.
