Today we read an awesome story about the mountains that battled

The interesting part about this is that it is set around certant mountains


1.Why did the brothers want to be more cunning and strong then the other.
2.why couldn't pihanga have tought them not to.

The predator and the believer.

Today we read some story's about a pigeon I chose to write about pigeon getting a walrus. it was first about a puppy and a pigeon but after seeing a puppy

My opinion is that the Pigeon should not get a Walrus.

The pigeon can't hide it and there is no where safe to keep it.

The house would be flooded.

The walrus would starve.

The pigeon would be in danger.

The walrus would grow to big.

                         

The pigeon would not be a good owner of a walrus and therefore should not get a walrus.

Myth of the sacred mountains

Today I read 3 text about the myth from the Maori about the sacred mountains. I read the main text first then the complimentary here are my end questions.

It was very interesting because i learnt new stuff like the Maori people believe that the mountains were made by very strong soldiers.

1. how were mountains formed
2. when were these mountains
3. how did the soldiers get there.

The Midnight thump

This week we wrote a story about a monster and a kitten. We had to have a twist.
Thump!

The Monster woke from his slumber during the predator hour. One thump after another the monstrous thing got closer and closer to whatever it was hunting.

Everything big and small was afraid of this monster. No one ever goes out at midnight ever no one but this monster. The monster walked through the forest destroying anything in his way.

When he came to stop a mighty roar came out of his mouth then he just froze. The Monster's head moved he was now looking at the dark night sky then he ran far far away.

When he finally came to another stop he was staring at a pitch black little house it was almost like he was bound to this place.

The whitest puny kitten in all the land was in his slumber. The kitten was not slumbered though, he knew of the dangers. The kitten laid some traps, some balls, creaky floorboards and an alarm. Bang Bang Boom. The giant broke through the rotten door leading to the interior of the the worn down cottage. The kitten also had some spikes close to his bed. The kitten had a quick escape if he needed it.

The monster took his first step he feel over the balls. The kitten knew basic escape maneuvers and executed them perfectly. The kitten also dug his claws into this monster. Ouch that hurt! Why did you do that!  

The kitten was gone far far away. The giant lost the kitten and was forced back into slumber.

   

Minecraft skins

We made some minecraft skins using google sheets. I made this one all by myself.

The bang of fireworks

Today we made a poem about gyfox and fireworks it was so fun.

Fireworks

The burst of the sparkling scattering flames of color blew me away.

The light i saw was like an explosion of beauty and light.

It felt like i was hallucinating, like i was so exhausted, like i was blind and couldn't see the real world.

When i finally believed it was reality i was so shocked, that this small world could be so beautiful.
